Who We Are
We set out to make the
right thing the easy thing.
We’re a local team with a big belief: recycling your old tech shouldn’t feel impossible. TechBack was created to make things easier, safer, and a lot more human. Giving homes and businesses of all sizes a simple, responsible way to protect our planet from e-waste.
Our Hero Origin Story
We spent years in corporate America and no matter the industry, one thing was always the same: closets, closets, closets full of old tech.
Companies forced to stockpile outdated devices because they couldn’t afford to recycle them properly.
There was no clear process. No budget. No safe way to get sensitive data off their hands.
And that didn’t sit right with us. Because doing the right thing shouldn’t be so hard or feel risky.
So we built TechBack: a smarter, leaner, human-driven solution that protects data as carefully as it protects the planet.
We’re proof that secure, ethical, environmentally responsible recycling can be accessible, approachable, and even a little joyful.
Let us make sure your old tech does some good on its way out.
Tech shouldn’t just have a second life, it should help plant a new one.

Sasha
TechBack CEO
Raised in the world of global IT, Sasha learned early on how critical data security is and how often it’s overlooked. After decades as a creative consultant trusted with high-profile clients’ sensitive information (while sneaking recyclables out of trashcans during on-site visits,) she wanted to tackle another problem close to her heart: e-waste. Shocked at the inaccessibility of the industry, the Accessible Recycling model was born.
Meet Our Founders
George
TechBack COO
George spent 20+ years as an executive creative director, solving complex brand challenges for global companies. When he saw how often businesses were forced to store old devices instead of recycling them securely, he knew there was a smarter, better way. And a much more human one. So he assembled a team with a passion for recycling and helping others with a smile. Working to bring free, secure recycling across Onondaga County.
